Hey Raindrops,

Haven't posted in a while (Stress, exams, Greek - I've joined my schools like greek chorus, which is like a greek chanting club, i HAVE MY FIRST COMPETITION TOMORROW soo excited! ill take pictures probs! :D, yes im a cool kid and deffs not a nerd who studdies greek in there spare time *whistles cunningly), i've started writing like 3 posts but not been into them that much so i stop halfway through but i thought before i do a proper post sometime this week i thought i should post my favourite poem, i'm going to bed soon and it's quite a dream poem so embrace it!

Glitterature: Sweerhearts by Sara Zarr

Today i'm doing my second glitterature.On my favourite book, EVER! 

Sweethearts - Sara Zarr

i discovered this book whilst roaming amazon, and i decided to buy it, ever since i've loved it. Rarely can i find a book so cute, so streotypical but the author's talent make you cry during your emotional ups and downs with the characters. It's truely amazing.

The author, Sara Zarr, has only written a few books. I think 3? I've only read this one but i want to read the others! This book has literally changed my life.

'As children, Jennifer Harris and Cameron Quick were both social outcasts. They were also each other's only friend. So when Cameron disappeared without warning. Jennifer thought she'd lost the one person who would ever understand her. Now in high school, Jennifer has been transformed. Known as Jenna she is popular, happy and dating - everything ''Jennifer'' couldn't be. But she still can't shake the memory of her long-lost friend. 

When Cameron suddenly reappears, they both are confronted with memories of their shared past and the drastically different paths their lives have taken.'

See doesn't that just scream Mature trashy beach read? But it is all soo much more mature then that...

It had the duo chapter layout, where the chapters either swap characters and or time spans...It starts off on the date October 18th, 1998 Jennifer was 11....

This chapter talks about and gives hints on how Cameron was abused by his father, his father was physically and emotionally abused and the more along the book you get the more you would understand.

Cameron.

Talking about him, i should explain a bit about him. Cameron is a tall, young man when he comes in the book at his current age! Even though he is only 17! He makes his own living and amancipated himself from his father, who divorced his mother and his mother and a few other children live in California. Cameron, when he was younger, was abused by his father, would skip three weeks off school and then come in one day - out of the blue, with his wrist strapped up and not talk, Jenna never asked why but just walked next to him and kept him comfort. And then one day, miraculously, he would be normal and his normal daredevilsh self. One day though, Cameron never came back in. Weeks past, Months past and Jenna always thought he would come back, till one day the children taunted her...

'He's dead' the bullies would say, and she wouldn't know better and believed it, her mother followed the story as well........

(moving on to Jenna)

Jennifer always thought about Cameron Quick but only remembered brief details, like their sleepovers but not the way they met.......Jennifer had turned pretty, thin, popular, spontaneous, girlfriend and was slowly forgetting Cameron but one birthday she received a letter, saying 'Happy Birthday Jennifer, I'm Back'. Nobody in this town new her as Jennifer Harris, her old life, but as Jenna Vaughn (her mum remarried) and she was scared. 

The story goes on to tell how no matter how hard Jenna, or Cameron, tries they won't be able to forget their past. It's amazing. It compassionately moved me. You might wonder what Cameron and Jenna's past might be...Well i will tell you, but not ruin it...Manyatimes Cameron's abusive father would try and sexually influence the two friends into promiscious activities, often resulting in to large acts of violence. His father tried to make the two children have sexual activity many times, not usually succeeding. This includes a time trying to make Cam and Jenna play 'Doctors and Nurses' but with Jenna ,with a bit of smartness, told his father that they could only play alone and he had to stand outside, and she looked the door. They endedu p having to break down a window and jumping a few floors down to escape, but his father caught up with them....




The book for me is 5*

Forever 21 + Some haul!

Hola Raindrops,

I'm back today with a BRAND new haul, from Forever 21/H&M/Lush! 

I'll start off with Forever 21! 

I bought 4 pairs of earrings = £16.70 i think! AMAZING deals! 

earings varied from £3.10-£6.95

 how amazing are these for summer? The first pair, top left, are my favourite. The tier gold tear-drop style earrings are beautiful! remind me of something that the gypsy mother in the northern lights would wear, yaknow the philip paulmen book urmm Jocasta Costa or somethign! Very gypsyish and the coral/fuchsia bits are beautiful i loveee them! 

The top right ones i featured before in my Forever 21 Wish list, and everyone commented saying they were beautiful! When i saw them i nearly didn't buy them cause they are soooooooooooooo long! but then i thought what the heck and put them in my basket to buy! They are long but beautiful, sooo festival! 

The bottom left pair are soo cute in the ear! They're my mums fave (fun fact for you), they remind me of a safarian leaf, something you would see in a rainforest! There not that long and so cute! oOO and i'm speaking to Lauzza, my frrrriend, who also likes the earrings ahaha another fun fact! Hi lauren!!!!!!!!!!  


The last pair will probably be the most fashionable for summer, a green turquoise chandelier with gold detailing. they are sooo cute i love them! there the perfect length! 

I also bought the white BarryM eye kohl in white for £2.99

I also bought a plain black bodycon skirt for H&M for £3.99

i bought a bottle of UV hair spray in pink for this rave i went to last night, Capital VIP's Valentines Day Ball, and i wanted it to show up in the uv lights. IT COMPLETELY FAILED. waist of money.

From lush i picked up another lipscrub, the mint flavour and a magic mushroom bubble bar! i also picked up a Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask and a ffew valentines prezzies for my mum! How sweet am i ;) 






So this is my haul for today! My hauls shall slowly decrease, yaknow round the bday times! And im going to Westfield stratford tomorrow but the next post hopefully will be a glitterature and or a review so stay intune!

Birthday Haul!

Hey Raindrops,

On Sunday it was my momentous 14th Birthday! Ok, i know. I'm young. whaccha gonna do bout it? But i turned one year older and gotta a hella load of stuff from friends and family which mainly consist of books and makeup so i thought i'd blog it! 

Disclaimer:I AM NOT BRAGGING

So let's start! 

 One of my sisters got me a bunch of books, and she said there are still more to come! 
A few i got:

I also got the Cox Cakes and Cookies recipe book, which is a cupcake shop opened by Patrick Cox and there cupcakes are AMAZING! and at £4.50 a go they should be.

 Bath and Relaxation wise i got 3 lil lush gift boxes, one a christmas one ( :/ ), Good Karma gift box by my lovely amazing beautiful friend Evie (i-love-her) and another gift box called Outa this world from someone else..
I got from Jeanette, a Vanilla Birthday Cake philosophy large shower gel/shampoo/bubble bath! I looove this! it lingers in ur hair longer then the lush ones do! 
I got this lovely orange blossom scented soap from my friend 
and from my mother i got a huge Jelly Belly Toasted Marshmallow Candle, i am gonna find out where that is from and buy loads. my room smells amazeballs! 

 Makeupwise i got loads! most of the makeup featured in my wednesday wishlist i tihnk 2 weeks ago got bought! 
I was given a Mavala gift set, Nars Turkish Delight lipgloss, a ROCOCCO nail polish, topshop highlighter in sunbeam, topshop lipstick in it's all about me, Rimmel/Revlon Day-to-Night mascara, Stila lipgloss trio, Benefits WattsUp! and MAC's impassioned lipstick, Max Factor lip stain 

my wonderful friend Mariam also got me a Ed-Hardy makeup set, i use the mirror for this a hell of a load and the bronzers pretty! 

 For perfume wise, some of my friends got me Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo.
This scent is nice, not my favourite, but nice. It contains pear and woody scents like almond, these are my mums fave scents so she loves it! I find the packaging really cute the snakeskin box is adorable though i find th bottle copied Victor Raulf's Flowerbomb fragrance which i really want. My mum loves this scent if it helps. it's quite mature...


The 2nd scent i A-DORE. From jeanette again, she always gets it Spot on! This is Aura by Swarovski, and is beautiful! It contains my three favourite scents, apple, vanilla and rose! The body lotion lingers on your skin and is divine! Fullly recommended! My friends always say i smell really good when i wear, even a teacher once when i walked into a classroom said 'oooo what's that sent' and someone responded with 'It's perdi!' I LOVE it. and the packaging is soo cute! and came with this gorgeous clutchy/eveningy/makeupbaggy pouch! 

 

And we can't forget the camera! the thing i took all these pictures on! I got the Canon Ixus (again i know but i love these!) 112 HS in Pink! they stopped doing baby pink but the hot pink is soooooo cute!

Forever 21 Wish List: Spring & Summer

Hey Girls,

i've been stalking the web today as i usually do and looking at spring/summer fashion! Especially summer because this summer i'm going to Camp! ahh sooo excited! i've never been before, and i want to go to a camp in America! I'm so excited! I think i'm going to go to this really cool one in Pennsylvania where you get like parties on the beach, boys, water parks, horse riding, skate park, cheerleading, surfing and so much more! i'm so excited! So besides losing weight, fake tanning, bikini buying, tumblring and all that other pre-summer/camp thigns i need to buy CLOTHES! duh! soo i went on the web and tried to find a few lov-el-y pieces online and found some gorgus things on Forever 21! 

loooove this dress! i love red on clothes, makes everything pop! and it makes people look slimmer, on me i guess...And this type of dress is really slimming! + its SO CUTE, check out dose ruffles! ahaha so cute over a bikini! or just on another summers day <3 

Want this for a reason, in the summer my school has an event called 'White Day' and as a reunion to the schools old uniform we all wear suitable white appropriate dresses.And this one is soo cute, with the synching at the waste and a cute chest ruffle it's so cute! AND IT'S LACE! and it's a sundress! and it would be soo cute for camp beach parties! 

Does this not scream American Summer camp? ahaa i'm so excited! this top is soo cute! i love the pinkness of it and the anchor is so summery and it just screams cute! 

Camp date nights - they have this date night game ahaha! this top is so cute! perfect for a disco with high waisted shorts and realllly cute sandals or my signature fit flops with the letter P for Perdi on it. Aha i love this top, the colours and the sequins are so me! 

Aha i just noticed these BEAUTIFUL earrings match the top just above and the top just below it. These gorgeous ombre coloured earrings are sooooooo amazing! i love these things.they are soo cute! and with hair up they would look stunning! like with a pair of shorts! mmm beauts! need. these.

this is the last clothing item and final item in my whole wish list and its this gorgeous flowly angelic top with a gorgeous neckline..

Wednesday Wants!

Hey,

For you today i have a much smaller post about my wednesday wants! My birthdays in 11 days so anybody wanting to get me a prezzie: ellllloooooooo!!!

I have i think 9 things i listed which i've seen around and i LOVE <3

Starting off on the left side i have:

these beautiful Miss Selfridge: POLAR White Suede Ankle Boot - £70 £35 are amazing, the black ones are nice too! And they are quite cheap on sale!! 3.5 inch heel, so i would be 5'11.5-ish, i'm 5'7.5/5'8 - tall for a 13 year old! aww they're adorable and similar to the ones i wanted from Forever 21 but they stopped selling it and those were sooo cheap (24.99) but they were 4inch! But i love the white ones! 

The shoes below it are the Miss Selfridge: Benji Black Shoe Boot...these are 5.5''!!!! So i would be 6'1ish in these so likeliness i would never wear these in fear of being too tall! But they are so cute and like still smart! 

This lipstick is M.A.C's Impassioned Lipstick ahh ommfg i love this so frickin much. Each time i go to Selfridges with my friends (practically every 10 days) or whenever we go out we put on Bright lipstick...My friends: Rebecca and Jeanette, my shopping buddies, put on  a bright red (Bex) and a hot Raspberry (jeanette) and i always put on a hot pink cause i have fair skin and stands out and twice coincidently i put on the same one, Impassioned by MAC..Hannah @ whichwaytowonderland loves i! And i adore it too! It's hot pink! 

On the page on the right, it starts off with Jack Wills Farleton Dress in Navy Boat...It's a gorgeous strapless dress, sweetheart neckline with little white sailing boats printed on it! HOW CUTE?! i'd love to wear this with a brown belt, a denim jacket and some adorbs sandles! need it! 

On the right is the Topshop highlighter in Sun Beam, my sister has this and it is literally a pure gold highlighter. All of mine are peach/champagne/pearly and this is GOLD! it looks amazign on as well! 

Below are two topshop lip colours, the lipstick is a hot dark pinky colour with blue undertones! soo cute! its a bit of a raspberry so its different to Impassioned. the colour is All About Me, and i need it! The lipmarker next top it is a bubblegum pink in the colour Popsickle! 

The last bag is from Topshop, the £58 Mint Twist Handle Leather Bag is only £58, perfect for spring AND IT'S MINT! i love it, will make it my new school bag!

Girl Crush: Ashley Benson & Lucy Hale

Hello again,

I'm surprised that i've not done a girl crush on these two already but theres always time! Ashley Benson & Lucy Hale are stars in the ABCFamily hit, Pretty Little Liars. Benson plays the beautiful blonde: Hannah Marin and Hale plays the quirky brunette: Aria Montgomery. I've done other girl crushes from the PLL series such as Shay Mitchell! but i just tumblrd a picture of these two looking amazing! two looks i deffs will recreate!

Now here is some girl-crush-worthy ladieeees..

I'll start off with Ashley/Hannah! 

This look in this picture is what drew my eyes, along with her glowing uber tan legs (do you recommend Sally Hanson leg thingy the spray - i want legs like these!!!). I will deffs recreate this look and i think imma do a D/G.I.Y finged top like this. I love the bright yellow dress top and the multicoloured scarf and that jacket totes just chills it down! I also love her hair in this photo, a summer Ash-Bens inspired OOTD is coming up. i bet on it.

As you can see she often has soft waves running throughout her gorgeous blonde hair, usually just below shoulder length! on her lips she usually has a dusky pink and her blush is often very neutral but theres one pic of a gorgeous dusky rose prominent of her amazing cheekbones! 6 down i think! she always looks amazing in her flowly dresses - usually short! she loves detail as you can see and isnt afraid of colour though she usually sticks to black and white! I love her hair the most! it always looks AMAZING! im so jealous of her! 

Moving on to Lucy Hale...

Lucy's style is a lot more rockerish yet delicate. Like she would use a delicate shape with an edgy pattern or mix and match, i love it! She is quite petite and has quite a boyish/straight figure but smallens her waist with often belted or structured clothes! She usually wears short and wears amazing heels! 

In the picture of her and Ashley i love the delicateness of the top and the awesome bright blue shorts - another look i would recreate! 

She often eyelines her eyes quite close to the lash line with a really dark black and is often glowy/dewy, i also love the brown smokey eye she is often seen with! 

Ahh i love these two so much!
