My Best Friend

I'm going to write this post, if I publish it I have no idea. I think i'm going to ask permission from my best friend if I can publish it. Raindrops, this is probably the hardest post I have ever had to write, and probably the hardest post I will ever write.

I'm currently reading a book, which I will do a gliterature on called 'The End of Everything' - Megan Abbott. And for some reason, even only 50 pages in, it's very dear to my heart. It's about a girl whose best friend gets kidnapped. Whilst reading it just down, at 2am I thought what would I do if that happened to my Best Friend? And that's it. I broke down in tears. The girl in the book was so strong about it. I couldn't be. There has been so many times when nobody could get in contact with her and we would all start worrying. Everyone was worrying because they couldn't reach her. She's always fine of course, hopefully she will ALWAYS be fine. But I was so worried for her. All that had happened is that her phone was out of battery. I was angry afterwards, so angry that she got me worked up for no reasons but then I remember suddenly having the thought 'what if something has happened to her, and i'm angry' and I stopped even feeling angry and just started asking everyone if they'd heard from her.
Cheeky school selfies :*

I've known her since Year 3, UK. I've known her since we were like six or seven, when she joined my school. I remember us standing in my old house, with our mothers, and having our backs turned to them so they couldn't tell who was who. When we were younger, especially from the back, we looked very similar. Now we look nothing alike, and I guess the only similarities we have now are our hair colour, eye colour and height. Still quite a lot though. She's a lot more beautiful than me though, and a lot thinner. To me, she is everything a best friend a best friend should be.

She means the world to me. If anything happened to her, like the best friend in the book, I have no idea what I would do. She doesn't go to my school anymore, but we still talk pretty much every day. I think I wouldn't be able to be the same person without her. I think I wouldn't be the Perdi I am today without her, nor could I ever be like i am today if she wasn't here.

So, Best Friend, you mean the world to me and thank you so much for making me who I am today. And thank you for being who you are.

Being a blogger and knowing, from bblogger chats, that you prefer more personal posts I'm considering this becoming VERY personal.

During this year we've suffered many problems in our friendship. All that has now been overcome. Sometimes I do wish I got mad, or angry, or confrontational but that is not who I am but in a way I go regret it.

There was a time in February when me and Best Friend had a rough patch. It was mainly through other people mixing sh*t and getting involved. Then I found things that made me really upset, things I could read and see in black and white that had been said. I should of told her straight away that I knew what had been said, I didn't. One of the reasons I didn't was because the way I found out - I was in the wrong. I shouldn't of ever found out these things, so i kept them a secret. We continued being best friends with no problems - well besides usual bickering. One day I just snapped and told her I knew. I didn't say it rudely or nicely either. But I said it. And I furious. After months, it must of been around 3 months, I felt released. But not resolved. I never realised how much I meant to her, and she was so upset when she knew I found out. In a way I understand what had happened, peer pressure is a part of every teens life. Best Friend, I am 99% over this so you don't need to feel bad anymore! The one percent left is my fault. I feel like I didn't do the classic teen-girl-drama yaknow all revenge and karma so in away I wish I did get all mad at her, it would make both of us feel relieved I think because after a few days of awkward glances we got over it and moved on. That's how good friends we are.

Even the big things mean nothing because she is there for me, and I am always here for her.

She knows i'm writing this now by the way, so i'm never going to go into full details about her, I've mentioned Best Friends' name here before but I think it's best not to feature it in this post.

Want to see a picture of us?

Ok. We don't actually look like that but I think it's good enough to show off our friendship.

And as karma I thought i'd show off Best Friend with a picture of her in her full on Dumbslut mode:

Credits to me because I took this AMAZING photo.

I tag you all to do this post, write a post about your best friend and link in the comments down below! Or just leave me a comment about yours!

FallHaul: Nails

Recently I went to Topshop, Oxford Circus with my friend Ella (hey Ella) and saw the new collection at BarryM and I actually think I couldn't stop smiling. I bought nearly the whole collection! Prices vary between £2.95-£3.99

From Top Left - Bottom Right
1) Black Multi Glitter, No 333
2) Vivid Purple, No 161
3) Rose Quarts Glitter, No 349
4) Silver Lilac, No 324
5) Gold Mine Glitter, No 355
6) Ruby Glitter, No 353
7) Yellow Topaz Glitter, No 351

So far all i've tried is Vivid Purple, which i really love. It reminds me of Cadbury chocolate wrappers. I've also tried Yellow Topaz Glitter, on top of a RImmel Metal Rush nail polish, and that i absolutely adored. I wish I got pictures, it looked like fireworks on my nails! I can't wait to try Ruby Glitter, it looks so fun!

Have you bought any nail polishes recently? Any more Fall Haul things? What do you think  of these polishes? You a BarryM fan? Leave me Hugs & Kisses below

FallHaul 2012: Lush

Sorry i've been gone for a while, i've been focusing on work and i just recently went away to Italy! I got back on thursday night so i've been just catching up on sleep and planning things for my current half term. Saying i went to Italy sounds so lovely doesn't it? Like i went to Rome - Lizzie McGuire-esque, but actually i went to Pompeii, Italy with my school. It was boiling there so it wasn't actually awful. But personally i wouldn't spend four days going through museums and ruins again, but my next post will be about it and showing some pictures - hopefully up and written straight after this post.

Today i'm doing a holiday lush haul since everything has come out, i thought i'd need to do some purchasing and i ended up with quite a lot and just bought more...silly me :p

My current Lush storage. I do want to get a pretty vase or bowl to put them in so i can display them better than this, but i prefer this to a draw so i can smell them all the time :)

My little haul

Father Christmas Bath Bomb - £3.25
This is too cute. I bought it mainly for the face of it. It is described to have the scent of mandarin oil and orange flower absolute.

The Enchanter Bath Bomb- £3.20
This is the halloween bathbomb, i picked up a few of these actually - cheeky me.Scents include lime, neroli oil and frankincense.

So White Bath Bomb - £3.20
A returner! Coming back this year bigger and better. An apple scented bath bomb - that doesn't feature apples! How queer? But does contain Bergamot Oil, Rose Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute and Neroli Oil.

Candy Mountain bubble bar - £2.45
The classic bubble producing candy floss and bubble gum scent! The same scent as Snow Fairy shower gel

Party Popper Bath Bomb - £2.95
This bath bomb has got to be the coolest thing i've seen from Lush in a while. First it's shape! It's like a Unicorn's horn, but not. It could be because it smells divine,Honeydew Melon (don't think i've seen that in a bath bomb yet), Bergamot Oil, Tangerine Oil, Rose Oil, Rapeseed Oil and Coconut Oil. It's sweet and fragrant, if you imagine Lush having a scent - or the first smell you smell when you walk into a store, i think this personifies it! Not only that it has POPPING CANDY in it! I will do a review on this once i use it because i think it's one of the most interesting bath bombs Lush has ever created.

Cinders bath bomb - £2.25
It might be a small one, but a three year running returner? I think so! Small and yellow, ok to admit it does make your bath go a funny colour and looks like a bath full of urine, but with a scent of what smells like Fireworks and Autumn - cinnamon/gingerbread etc..Not only is it scent amazing: cinnamon, almond oil, sweet orange oil, gardenia essence, IT CONTAINS POPPING CANDY AGAIN. This time you can see it, the red granules at the top. The first time i bought it, i had no idea it was popping candy and it was a few years ago and it was a new formula and there was way too much of it in the one i had so i felt like i was just in a massive exfoliator. Till i realised it crackled - silly me hehe

That's all for now, Raindrops. I'll try and get another post up as well as i haven't blogged in a month - sorry again

FallHaul: Topshop Jewels

Hey Raindrops,

How is the beginning of your week? Mines been work-filled. I was home from school on thursday afternoon and friday from being sick because i thought i had the sickness bug but it was wonderful to spend the afternoon watching tv snuggled up with my sister, whose now at uni and i miss very much :( and i spent friday, whilst she was at work, with her boyfriend whose like a brother and friend to me so it was fine, but now i'm much better but i think i'm coming down with a really bad cold, i won't stop sneezing *Achooo*, funny timing ey? And coughing but i hate colds so hopefully not, i hate coughing and sneezing? Sneeziphobic?
But because of that i'm catching up with other people, and some times my friends demand i help them with work so i'm trying. Just today (including my Private Study times on my timetable) i did 2 english homeworks both over a page, two volcanic case studies, 3.5 pages of biology - something which will remain unfinished due to it's impossibility and one maths homework. And i managed to have time to write a letter to myself to read on Bonfire Night (November 5th).

I've heard about people writing letters to themselves as a way of therapy, write a letter for a week, month, birthday, event, years, decade time and see what has changed. It has also been featured in How I Met Your Mother, so imma see if it works..

But back to the point of this post, recently i've gotten loads from Topshop jewellery, i don't have the prices/links/names for them because most of them me and my sister share and split like sets in half but i thought i'd blog it anyways:

I first bought this ring. It is a rose gold triangle, its slightly too big for my hand but i love it. My watch is white and rose gold and compliments it beautifully and that statement and simplicity of it i love.

These are two separate earrings from separate sets and i love them. The gold one is a pointed (obviously) rusted gold earring, and the black one has a silver back with a studded pointy top.

Three pairs of really cute studs!

Love these triangle drop earrings (i call them my hipster chandelier earrings), i love the plain gold triangle at the top and the pleated-eque semi black painted ridges.

More studs hehe..Left is a gold pair with a green dot, back middle is a gold one with a wine dot (can't find other one :( ), right pair is a maroon pair.

Now here is where i store my excessive amounts of Topshop ear cuffs, on the edge of my mirror! I have no jewellery storage atm, and really need some...Any ideas?

I love this one, it has a plain gold cuff and chain. The piercing itself is a plain comfortable gold circular stud and it hangs on your ear really nicely. The actual dangly part it a turqouise teardrop with three gold leaves hanging.

i absolutely adore this one. It's gold, with a hanging earring but the connector is so cute. It's a double stranded beaded gold chain, with these cream barrel shaped beads that have like aztec baroque imprints. The one thing i don't like about this one is how LONG it is, it has like a massive drooping connector but i still love it hmm. Sorry for the bad photo, it's too long to snap right

This is my sisters' favourites and probably mine too. It doesn't sell in cream anymore, only black. I got both my sisters, my sisters boyfriend and my sisters boyfriends sister one of these each in black (the whole boyfriend thing is too long to explain, it was a joke cause he has his ears pierced). It's really sparkly, with the bright god cuff and chain with the earring which is a white diamond sequin peace stud. I where this all the time.

I got this after i saw my sister wearing one and i just fell in love. It's a six stranded cuff connector with rust, kahki and like a bronze colour. The stud and cuff are just plain gold. I think this is so cute to like grunge up an outfit with

This was more of an impulse buy because it was on sale. It's really different and unique so i still like it. My favourite part is the cuff, which looks like it has like a lace patterned detail to it. THe cuff and chain are silver and the dangly earring thing is silver but the charm itself is a gold nearly rose gold triangle with gold sequins. It's hard to describe

This one is wayyy to pretty. It has a gold cuff and connector with a stud that has a bright turquoise gem in it and connects to another turquoise stone and two gold urmm thin gold things where one is longer than the other..Hard to explain but the picture says it all. It also came with another earring for the other ear which is just a turquoise stud and god pyramid thing. I love that because i never know what earring to where in the other ear and now it's like 2 4 1.

That's them all laid out...

Have you bought any jewellery recently? In a blog haul - link below! What do you think of these purchases? Any jewellery storage ideas? Keep commenting and following, it makes my day!

Photos That Never Made it To The Blog (Part I: Me)

Hey Raindrops,

I saw a tag recently that was 'Photos That Never Made it To The Blog' and i decided to do it in a series, so this post i'm doing the ones of me that never made it to the blog!

Well that's it, just a small post.

I take so many photos and only like 5% are put up, so i thought i should show you a bit more of myself so i decided to do the tag..

What do you think?

(DISCLAIMER: i was requested to do this post, i wouldn't post them otherwise, so no comments hating or insulting, will be removed)
